Living in our modern environment may present specific difficulties, such as the Instacart shopper who consistently selects rotten fruit. People, are you serious? But there is one advantage to living in this era of human history: you don’t have to know everything. Gone are the days of looking up a subject in a book or encyclopedia or making a possibly humiliating phone call to ask someone else. Nope, we just went to Google and now have access to all the world’s information.
So, you have found our checklist for complete home cleaning. We offer a wide variety of options to keep in mind and use to maximize your home cleaning. A clean and organized living space is calmer and easier to move around.
Take a deep breath in. There is no shame in not understanding who, what, and when to keep your home clean. You’ve got too many other things on your plate to waste time remembering how often you should fluff your pillows or vacuum your mattress. Our thorough Total Clean Checklist eliminates all guesswork from the house cleaning process. It may be our little secret.
We’ve structured all the work by frequency, beginning with daily duties and progressing to more extensive (and more labor-intensive) jobs that must be accomplished only once a year.
It is entirely up to you to use this list—but remember to be kind to yourself. The goal isn’t to finish a list (you’ll have to start again tomorrow) but to have a knowledgeable partner in cleaning and preserving your most important asset: your home. We have your back.

Here are a Handful of Our Favorite Cleaning Tricks
You’ve just finished reading through the mountain of home cleaning checklists. You’re a top achiever. Let’s reclaim some of your valuable spare time. Here are a few of our favorite cleaning techniques, but there is a treasure trove beyond these.
Fill the duty void. You’re probably the most motivated cleaner in your house because you’re reading this. But don’t put everything on your shoulders. Everyone should contribute to making the house a comfortable place to live. Consider a simple chore chart with stickers or small rewards and straightforward jobs for children to complete, like Swiffering the kitchen floor. Teens can be expected to accomplish duties (whether you offer an allowance or not), and you can assign them more complex tasks, such as deep-cleaning the bathroom. But, whether you live with relatives or roommates, be upfront about your need for assistance (there’s nothing wrong with that) and your expectations.
Establish a cleaning schedule. The less you think about something, the more likely you are to do it. Determine your cleaning style—jogger, marathoner, time trailer, or rewarder—and play to your strengths. Don’t understand what those phrases mean? It has nothing to do with running.
Please be patient. Forget about the 21-day rule; it might take much longer for a new habit, particularly one that involves cleaning, to become second nature. So be patient with yourself and your family. Do you want to know more about cleaning habits? We’ve got your back.
